The website mysome.id and the mysome.id browser extension (the “Site”) offers information, tools and services to you to allow you to interact and experiment with the Concordium Blockchain. The Site is provided to demonstrate how you can use various tools to create a proof of authenticity, controlled by yourself for your social media profiles. Registration is not required to view content on the Site. By visiting the Site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink (collectively, the “Agreement”).

The Agreement applies to all users of the Site, including without limitation users who create proof of ownership of social media profiles and those who verify the authenticity of other user’s proofs.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Site. If you do not agree to all the terms of the Agreement, then you should leave the Site; however, by accessing the Site, you consent to the Agreement.

Any new features or references to tools and functionality, which are added to the Site shall also be subject to the Terms. 2. General Conditions

Services may be refused or ceased to anyone or everyone for any reason at any time.

3. Purpose

The Site is designed to help you issue and verify credentials about ownership of certain social media profiles with the proof of such verification stored encrypted on the Concordium blockchain. The Site provides a visual interface to interact with the smart contracts running on the blockchain. The use of the Site in connection with the MYSOMEID concept is optional as the smart contracts are publicly available on the blockchain.

4. Your profile, your responsibility

You are the only person with access to the wallet referred to here. It contains your personal data and you are responsible for keeping the wallet secure through protection of your access credentials. It is important to understand that you are the only party to any transaction on the Concordium blockchain; Only you have possession, custody or control over any items on your wallet and no other person has, possession, custody, ability to delete or control over any items on any user’s wallet or interactions with the blockchain, without you giving it to them.

If you’re not comfortable with interacting with an inherently transparent blockchain, you should not engage with the Site to issue or verify social media proofs. You are solely responsible for the safekeeping of the private key associated with the blockchain address used to interact with the Site. The transactions on blockchain including transfer of data are permanent and cannot be undone.

The Site refers to functionality on the Concordium networks, but has no influence on the  operation or integrity of such networks.

5. Sponsorship of blockchain transaction fees

From time to time you may be able to cover the costs of transacting with the Concordium blockchain via sponsorship either directly or through third parties. As you still initiate all transactions with the blockchain network whether you pay the transaction fee to the blockchain or the transaction fee to the blockchain is paid for by a third party, you are solely responsible for those transactions. Only you can create and revoke proofs on your behalf.
